compact view
This shows the straps zipped closed like a sling bag and the top of the sides folded inward. The bag looks much more compact this way and is perfect just like this with most of the things that we need to tote around.
No, I purchased a pattern a while ago and just never got around to making the bag until now. The pattern called for several different fabrics and quilting through the main body of the bag. I liked the look of the bag, but not those parts so it took me a little time to figure out how to make it work. Lazy Girl Designs, Chelsea bag.
I like quilted bags when the combinations of colors/fabrics work together well and it's my style. The sample on this pattern just didn't do anything for me and that was all I had to see as a reference for this project.
