Here's Jennifer and Amanda the other two lovely ladies who were there. Since Jennifer hosted it makes sense that she would be there showing Amanda into her home. . .
She and Amanda worked on a pot holder project. Amanda had never sewn anything before so Jennifer took her through the steps to applique a leaf onto fabric and used satin stitching to outline it and give it dimension and texture. Then they attached a hanger and bound it with mock binding. It was really cute and I learned a thing or two on applique that I didn't know before just by being there.
