The boys needed some updated feeding table cushion covers so I took them to the store to pick some fabric. Seeing as how they LOVED the movie Cars they picked out this print with Lightening McQueen and Mater. I like it too actually. I picked a discount fabric for the lining and some denim for the binding and this is what I came up with. These covers are woven cotton and more tailored than my first attempt with fleece. I think that I will make some more with different prints and patterns over the next few weeks. Here is Mardie's cover. Charmie's will be identical with maybe some improvements on my binding application. I was freaking out earlier because I thought I had placed the button holes incorrectly but after leaving and coming back to the project I was pleasantly suprised to discover they actually are in the right place. All seams are finished by either serging or binding.
